Mainz Workshop in Trade and Macroeconomics

The Gutenberg School of Management and Economics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany, invites submissions for a two-day workshop in Trade and Macroeconomics, which will take place on August 15-16, 2013.

The workshop aims at stimulating the exchange of ideas in the fields of trade and open-economy macroeconomics. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome.

The keynote speech of the workshop will be delivered by Ariel Burstein (UCLA).

The deadline for submissions is May 24, 2013.

Authors will be notified of the decision by the end of May. For submission, please send your paper or an extended abstract as a pdf file to LSharms@uni-mainz.de. If we accept an extended abstract we expect authors to send us their paper by June 28, 2013.

Note that we are able to cover costs of accommodation for a limited number of participants. If you would like to apply for this kind of support, please let us know when submitting your paper.
