Conference on “New Frontiers in Russian Energy”, UK

02-01-2013

UCL SSEES is hosting a one-day Conference in June 2013 to examine “New Frontiers in Russian Energy.” These “Frontiers” are both geographic – the new hydrocarbon rich regions in East Siberia and the Russian Arctic – and technological – new shale gas and renewable energy technologies. Experts in the field from academia, industry, government, policy and law from Russia and the UK will consider the contribution each of these “New Frontiers” will make to Russia’s future energy balance. The conference builds upon a successful June 2012 UCL SSEES Energy Workshop on “Shale Gas and Renewable Energy in Poland and Ukraine”.
